Kompetenta was created to support organisations that need delivery and risk under control without building heavy structures.

My background is in delivery governance and operational oversight across complex environments. Over time the work moved closer to risk, control and compliance, because that is where failure tends to show first.

Control and visibility are the common thread.

  • When risks are documented but not reviewed, they do not exist.
  • When actions are agreed but not tracked, they do not progress.
  • When reporting is produced but not understood, it does not inform decisions.

Governance should bring clarity, not noise.

What I Do

Structured support across governance, compliance and project operations.

This includes stabilising neglected governance, maintaining control across live programmes, establishing practical risk foundations, and supporting organisations working toward ISO 27001 certification or formalising GRC activity.

The focus is always the same: make ownership visible, make risk actionable, make progress measurable.

Over a decade across data centres, telecoms and managed service environments, supporting senior stakeholders and leadership teams in maintaining structured oversight. The perspective is practical, not theoretical.
